Someone recommended that I use a high vicosity synthetic grease, which I think can be found at any auto parts store. And I beleive the torque specs for the mounts are 18 ft. lbs. The endlinks are 33 ft. lbs. iirc.

 

I mostly need the torque spec above everything else. Im using the grease supplied with Whiteline sways since that's what I have on my LGT.

I don't have this problem on my LGT, but it certainly is a problem in Nick's car.

It wasn't there at first but after a few miles of driving it showed up and now its downright annoying according to Nick.

Its for the ring that goes around the bushing and mounts to the frame.

 

torque specs

For their bars, Cobb rcommends the both the endlinks and mounts be torqued to 30 ft/lbs.

 

Ah, 18 ft-lbs and a generous amount of lithium grease and I am quietly running! I love the Strano bar!

 

F the grease n use teflon tape. Lasts for years, silent operation, lubricates perfectly and doesn't need regreasing. Still amazed at folks "greasing their bars." Hahaha. :lol:

I didn't even know the option existed!

 

Run it dry with just the tape. About 3 layers deep and make sure you "terminate" the tape under the bushing. You'll never use grease again.
