mine only do one start up. not two.

I just wanted to confirm...

I will be recieving my gauges shortly and I wanted to make sure I have the necessary parts for the oil pressure install.

If I don't have to spend $70 on an oil filter sandwhich adapter I don't want to.

I recall someone saying that the Defi threads are not 100% identical to the Subaru threads in the OEM oil pressure sensor. Should I thread it nonetheless and hope the tape seals most of it or is there somewhere that I can buy an adapter?

Also, will I need an adapter to thread the EGT probe into the manifold? I recall usuing one to thread it into my Evo manifold.

I hope this helps with your oil pressure issue.

The DEFI oil pressure sensor is 100% compatible with the Subaru threads, assuming you are replacing the stock sensor under the alternator with your DEFI one.

I repeat, 100% compatible.

Its the control unit that all the sensors connect to. Defi's use a daisy-chain feature so each gauge connects to the next one and only one connects to the control unit. The control unit adjusts the brightness, shows peak readings and can record and play up to 2 min.

So when hooking it up to the clock harness, do the gauges just do a single sweep? I've read where some people hook theirs up, not sure how, and it sweeps when the key is on accessory, and again when turned to on. I'm going to install my stuff soon and want to be sure I only get the sweep once.

Clock harness produces two, that is, if you turn your key a little slow.

A fast key in, turn to start sequence only triggers the sweep once.
