OK, I see everyone starting a thread on their build ups, so I figured I'd share as well. Towards the end of last year, I had Automaster of Westchester install an FP Red turbo with an external wastgate and all the supporting goodies. The car ran fantastic and was fast!! On Automasters Dynodynamics dyno, the car layed out 388whp and 35Xwtq (on pump and on a conservitive tune)....it was an animal on the street. I really wanted 400whp on pump gas, so I brought the car back for a retune....well, the motor was already hurt from a previous shops tune (Automaster did a compression test) and it decided to take a hike on me. So, I decided to make my STI an 11 second daily driver, and take the car to a whole new level.
The first thing I needed was a bottom end to hold the amount of power I wanted, so I had Automaster order me an S3L block from Crawford Performance. In addition, I needed all the gaskets, APR head studs, PE kevlar timing belt, etc, which was also ordered.
The next thing I needed was to do something with the heads, especially if we want to make some serious power. So, Automaster called his connection to do the heads with all the possible upgrades that can be done....basically race heads.
For right now, I'm going to keep the FP Red turbo and see what the red is really capable of doing. I'll keep you posted once the motor is broken in properly.
I will be keeping a picture diary of all the mods and the progress as we move further into the project. Right now the Crawford block is at the shop, and I will be posting pictures as soon as I can upload them from my camera. As soon as the heads come in I will be posting pictures of those as well, along with any other miscellanious parts that come in.
I can't wait to see where this project goes!

I also forgot to mention in the above post that I have the whiteline Group 4 coilovers installed on my ride...and new shoes for next summer.....Volk LE28N's
