Ok, trigger pulled. TE37 SL 18x10 +40s should be to my by next Wednesday and the tires, Michelin Pilot Super Sports 265x35R18, are sitting at my tire shop now waiting for me to get them.
Wow. I think this is the first time I've seen someone ask for advice and actually act on the good suggestions that are given to them. Congrats dude, you'll love them.

Welcome to the TE37SL club...wise man going with the 18x10's! and good tire choice! I have R1R's in 265/35 and love them...a bit soft so we'll see what I get next!
Thanks, I opened one of the boxes to look at them yesterday and I am pretty pumped, now I just have to wait a few weeks till I get into the shop and get them on.

I basically called all the popular sellers until I got the best price they would give me. I ended up ordering through Vivid Racing. It just turned out that there was a set in country that was not presold so I got lucky on the timing.

Sorry, don't mean to threadjack but i think this kinda fits in this thread. I've got Te37 18x9.5 +35, just wondering what size of tire would be the best to fit them in a 2010 STI. I'm pretty sure i'll need to rolls the rear fenders and hopefully can get away with just that.

You can fit a 265/35R/18 with a flat roll in the rear and your camber at -2.X* all around. Facundo uses this exact setup for his track wheels.

Well I rolled the rear fenders today getting ready for the wheels. I don't have them mounted up yet so I kind of had to guess how much roll I would need.

There is a little bead of raised paint on the inside of my wheels that didn't survive but that is rolled under now and I will tape it off and use some touch up paint make sure it doesn't rust and matches ok. I didn't screw the paint up beyond that so I am happy.

I ended up with ~1/2" of fender lip and ~5-6 deg. of pull/angle out so hopefully that will be enough to cover it, I think I got about 18-20mm more clearance. If that doesn't do it I can take a dinging hammer to the inside lip and get some more space.

I am out of town till the 29th so hopefully that week I can get the wheels mounted and post some pics.
