TMIC Bracket (Passenger Side) Installation Inquiry

It's funny how the more things can get trivial; the more bothering they can become. Last shop did not mount the bracket back where it was, so I got another OEM bracket to have it mounted but engine bay looked crammed, I thought cutting part of the bracket and installing it (half-way) so to speak was the solution, I wasn't contended after that.

Similar picture below (not mine)

Now I want the whole bracket installed just like the way it was before. All I need to know is the point where it mounts onto. I'm running an ETS unit. I might have to cushion the bracket so it won't rub against other hoses such as AOS hoses or secondary coolant reservoir hoses. I'd appreciate it if someone can take a picture of it.

Can't see your picture, but do you have aftermarket fuel rails? If so, the TMIC bracket is part of the brackets that hold in the fuel rails.

My injector brackets are gone because of aftermarket fuel rails, this is what my TMIC bracket looked like after modifying it:

I was running an ETS TMIC. It will rub on that bolt in the first picture, so I had the pieces welded together. You could probably also just put button head bolt in there to keep it from scratching (I think that comes with the original ETS TMIC kit?).

For the AOS, I routed the hose differently because it couldn't fit under the ETS TMIC:

I think I had that fat elbow piece already. I sent a picture of this to IAG support and they said this shouldn't cause any problems. The AOS still appeared to work correctly, TMIC stayed clean.

Thanks @djoye for all your efforts, appreciate it. To answer your question, no, I still run factory rails/lines.
All I wanted to know is the place where the passenger side bracket mounts onto, the first end obviously on the intercooler end tank, what about the other side of the bracket? should it be mounted onto the edge of the manifold for instance? there's a bolt there, I don't know if it's the one used for this.

It's true that routing AOS hoses can be bothersome, I've been trying for the last months to pack the hoses up in a way everything would look tidy and clean. There've been improvements but still there's need for more. One hose goes underneath TMIC, another one is oily which is a bad indicator. I'll have to upload some pics for this later on.

Is your TMIC rattling or having issues? Maybe you don't need the bracket lol.
It does rattle a bit (not too much) due to engine movement, road imperfections. The iag engine mounts could alleviate this but still.
The rattling is bad for the life of the silicone pipe underneath the tmic and throttle body coupler. Giving wrong knocking signal too could be one of the concerns as I've heard earlier.

Also couldn't find ets instructions or at least anything of use.

So it turns out it’s just barely on the engine side of the bell housing rather than the transmission side just barely, but I found this picture that shows it pretty clearly-it’s a wrx bay but the bracket mounting should be the same View attachment 74767
Thanks man. So as far as I understand, the STI has 3 stay-in brackets; driver side, middle, and passenger side.
It seems that the pic you've uploaded shows the "middle bracket" only.

Please look at the following pic. The red arrows point to the same middle bracket that goes from underneath upwards. The green arrow is for the bracket I'm inquiring about actually :) it goes from where it mates with the middle bracket towards somewhere around the secondary coolant, where exactly? this is the question :)

It's that spot in the last image that JDM-STI has uploaded. Hmm, this looks weird to me because I'd never have predicted it to be in there, and it's in the side too. Could his year model differ from mine, even though both are VAs? No idea.

Nonetheless, answer has been received.

Thanks everybody.

It bolts to the support bracket under the upper coolant reservoir.
If you look straight down below the tank an the back left corner (looking from the front of the car) you will see where it bolts to that bracket.
