I was actually surprised at how well they do in the rain, I wouldn't go pushing the car's limits on them if it was wet out though. For regular driving purposes they are fine in the rain, but snow is another story. Last year I decided to take it out for some fun in the snow/freezing rain and it didnt turn out to be very fun at all lol. Just downshifting to help deccelerate the car would cause me to break traction on all four wheels, needless to say I wont be taking it out of the garage next winter unless I get some winter wheels.

take it easy and the tires are fine. watch out for the hydroplaning though they do that pretty easy. just be aware they can break loose but as long as you behave they are good to go.

the amount of water on the road makes a big difference.

In my experience they are perfectly safe in the rain provided that you do not push them real hard. They are predictable when they break loose, and they have more than enough grip to have a lot of fun (more than you should generally be having on public roads in the rain... LOL). I took them to a track day where it rained the first session, and I was pleasantly surprised by their behavior in the wet. Nothing like PZero Nero's, but pretty safe. My biggest concern is resistance to hydroplaning... so I don't push them too hard in standing water. That said, I haven't had them hydroplane yet and I've been in some pretty heavy downpours.

I pushed them hard in the rain when I first got the car and what I was left with was a ton a wheel spin, and almost flying into a curb. Like it was said before, they are fine for just cruising in the rain, but when accelerating hard or turning sharply at higher speeds, definitely expect a great loss in traction.

best thing you can do is go to an empty wet parking lot and find out to get the feel. went autox last year in the rain and they arent much different then when its dry, maybe a little more understeer. I'm goin autox today in the rain so I should have some feedback later.(im protuned now,371wtq):)

Sorry it dried up no feedback in the wet, but I will tell you after being protuned(371wtq) understeer is gone when I hit the trottle ;)

I never had a problem with them, however I dont push ever in the rain (or dry) on the streets... I had an autox in rain with the RE070's once and they did ok I thought. As mine wore though, they tended to hydroplane a lot on the freeway.
