Squeaky noise after Wheel Spacer Installation

Hi guys

I just installed 17mm Ichiba v2 wheel spacers on my car and I am getting a squeaky noise from the driver side rear wheel. It seems to be a rotational squeak, any idea what is causing it?

Im getting a slight vibration too but I think an alignment will fix this from what I have read online.

I torqued it to 80 ft/lbs and the lug nuts as well are torqued to 80 ft/lbs. I also applied anti-seize grease on the backside of the spacer.

Any help is appreciated.

are the 17mm spacers with built in studs or extended studs?

if they're the type with built in studs, what wheels are you running? there have been recorded issues about the stock stud rubbing against the back of the wheel hub on the GR BBS wheels since the spacer isn't deep enough. I've never heard of anyone using 17mm but for 20mm it is a common problem.

Yea I heard about that, but I don't have BBS rims. I have the enkei wheels, wheels have some nice size pockets on the back.

Thanks appreciated the effort nonetheless. Going for an alignment early tomorrow and if it continues I will pull the wheel off and double check everything again.

Got the alignment, camber and toe was corrected. However my car still sounds like a helicopter at around 80mph and still getting that squeaky noise from that one wheel.

Taking it to a shop tomorrow morning to see whats up.
