sparco evo III fitment

Hi, I am looking for a new seat for my track car build. I really like the sparco Evo seat, but due to my size, ( 5'9"- 240lbs ) , I think I need the EVO III. My question is, has anyone ever mounted a EVO III in a GD STI. I am not sure the EVO III will fit in the car.

It will fit, but may need some work. Depending on the mounting brackets/base you buy, you may need to drill holes to bring the seat more towards the center of the car to allow it to clear the B-Pillar. Sparco competition seats of any kind are notorious for having the shoulder area (wings) rub on the B-Pillar. Even my Sparco Evo rubs on the B Pillar slightly where I like to sit in it and I have it as low as I can get it on the Sparco seat base and sliders. Check out Planted Technology seat brackets too. They have lots of surface area for custom fitment.
