I just applies FFS patch to a stock 08 STi. I set the FFS rpm cut off at 5000rpm (my normal rev limit is 6900rpm) rev limit fuel resume at 1.80. I encountered some hesitations in between gear shifts! Does anybody who experimented with FFS know what would be a good FFS settings for an 08 STi?

You set the ffs for what ever RPM you will be shifting at. The reason it's hesitating is because you're shifting to high, and the FFS is being enabled between shifts un wanted. That's not good, puts un needed stress on the car. Simply raise the ffs to what ever RPM you will be shifting at.

I personally set mine to about 6400-6600RPM. IMO you yield better results when it is set higher because boost is at max and there's less rpm drop off(keeps you in you're powerband). Besides that's the rpm i shift at when trying to go as fast as possible. Hope that helps!

what is "to" high? If its not at rev limit whats the problem? You want it to be that high so when the rpm's drop down you're still in you're powerband/ utilizing the boost you're maintaining. Also have you had any prior experience with FFS, it's not something you want to use on the regular. Even at the track, unless there's that pesky car you're trying to beat. Shifting any ealier than mentioned would not be utilizing the whole powerband.

You want to depress the clutch as soon as it gets to the benchmark of FFS, as quickly as possible while engaging the shifter into gear. The quicker the better, but MAKE SURE you depress the clutch all the way. People get excited a lot of the time and don't depress the clutch all the way down resulting in a nicked syncro or tottal mis-shift.

Well, no I don't have prior experience with FFS & that's why I'm posting a question about it :p
I meant too high in the sense that it makes the FFS patch almost redundant because it's very close to the actual rev limit.
But since you're experainced with it I'll follow your advice & give a shot. Setting FFS limit at a higher RPM won't effect normal driving, I assume?

When I reset my ecu it resets FFS to 4500 or something like that and it hesitates badly between shifts if WOT.
