Some cars will have boost creeps and some don't. Every car will react differently upon the climates and conditions.

To remedy this condition, you get a protune or EWG or both.

Just do it! You already bought the pipe! It will be a crazy bump in power.. I am complete straight pipe TBE on cobb OTS stage 2 , and have no boost creep.

 

I had a 2010 and ran catless with basically the exact same set up. I had the Greddy ti-c but it's the same design as the invidia. I had to run the LWG map and didnt quite ever hit boost targets, usually like .3-.4 psi low. On the regular map I would overshoot by 1-1.5 psi in higher gears.

If you have the n1 race its going to be insanely raspy.

I have always run catless but also always run a protune, never an off the shelf map. My suggestion is to get protuned. Its better in every way.

 

I know the protune can faze it out but the money for a tune is high. I live in the mountains of NC (3500) above sea level. I had an 05 STi back in 2007 and ran a catless downpipe and didnt have a problem but once i bought my 10 all i heard about was boost creep.

 

Since you have it already just use it because stage II is waiting for you. I have the Invidia catless DP and I was getting boost creep in 5th & 6th with a 20g turbo. Then I went EWG and it was fixed.
Also if it does get boost creep just use the lwg map. It'll still be fun. :tup:

And a protune can't always faze out the boost creep. Or jus port your IWG if you can't buy an EWG now.

I say try it out, if you get boost creep, take it from there.
You have several options. Go catted, install EWG w/tune, or port internal WG.
Most tuners can compensate for creep. Sometimes that springs is just too damn tight and there's nothing you can do tune-wise.

Try it out. If it doesn't work, change it.

 

Exactly what ^ said. Work with what you got and if you get creep use the LWG map, if you still get it, do 1 of the 3 options above starting with the cheapest. GrimmSpeed can port your IWG iirc.

Just don't floor it at low rpms while in a high gear and you'll drop boost creep instances dramatically.

I like your thinking. I have a tial MVS & it's awesome. It's my favorite performance mod because its loud.
