No problem. I think its actually 19mm but what close enough. If you get them I recommend the saggy butt spacers... I wish I had gotten them.

Pinks are great springs but u sure need a 3/8 spacer in the back...Infact I even throw it in the parts list when a customer goes what else do I need for an install??

Hey guys, I'm so sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I just had a quick thought...

Although these springs have a higher spring rate, can I expect these to ride much better than the Tein S-Techs that came on my car?

I basically need some moral support lol :p I'm planning on ordering the Yellows this weekend but I can't find anything here that has directly compared the two, thanks in advance!

From Nasioc.

"his used to be part of the suspension upgrade FAQ but now that we have more room at the top, giving it its own slot might not be a bad idea.

The rules.

The first rule of the suspension forum is: Do not talk about S-techs.

The second rule of the suspension is: Do NOT TALK about S-TECHS

There is a good reason for this being on Nasioc. The s-techs drop you so far that you are permanently on the bump stops. The options i list below all come with bump stop replacements. Unless you run ohlins, have cut your bumpstops (and even then you still wont have much bump travel) or like the feeling of having no bump travel then any of the options below will be better.

That being said. I am researching some options for myself.

RCE Yellows - Harder and lower then the blacks. May look cooler but if you drive your car in the winter you may want the extra ride height and comfort the blacks offer. I personally would buy blacks if i had to choose between the yellows and the blacks but its purely up to you.

RCE Blacks - Apparently a very good option based on my research and i will likely be pairing them with ohlins. Little softer then the yellows with a smaller drop

Prodrives - Best option for comfort on the stock struts. Not a huge increase in stiffness or performance.

Thats how i feel about em.

Thanks a lot, I forgot about that thread on Nasioc...
"Unabomber's Manifesto" if I remember correctly

Note* I bought my car with S-Techs installed by the previous owner & already knew they were a p.o.s. spring (used as part of my haggling strategy lol) Please dont label me as a noob riceboy who tried to "slam" his Subie aha

I think the blacks are great for lowering your car a little and changing the look! I like them a lot but, they do still ride a little harsh on these Colorado roads and i think i would be unsatisfied with the ride of the yellows! Just my 2 cents.
