'Brake Override' Safety Feature?

Hoping to get input from current model owners, preferably 13+ WRX/STi owners.

I'm seeing that a lot (if not all?) new cars have a 'brake override' safety feature to prevent unintended acceleration lawsuits. If you press the brake and accelerator at the same time, it cuts the throttle. Its infuriating.

Can anyone tell me if the current WRX/STi has this?

The brakes will not override the throttle at all throttle positions. Its more of a system which is in place to prevent the use of both in panic situations. IE if your throttle is at 100% and your trying to brake at 100% something is obviously wrong and the computer will "override" your throttle input.

I reflexively press the clutch down while slamming the brakes so even if I accidentally hit the accelerator, it will just make revs shoot up.

My concern is mainly from left foot braking, but also heel toeing. I do a lot of left foot braking in the winter and would be really disappointed if it wasn't an option.

I didn't even hear of the feature until seeing the Forester XT has it. Then tried it on my wife's 2012 civic and was really disappointed. I don't know of any way to defeat it.
