Searched it myself and only came up with the same post that @Bug mentioned on Facebook by GotItRex's FB Page.
From what I can see it's marketed as improved aero on the comp wheel and turbine wheel. Looking at the photos on Pro Speed Racing the 2.5 G2-R looks very similar to the 1.5 XT-R that I have installed. Pro Speed Racing's site also mentions the wheel upgrades, but no mention of improvement percentages etc.

I'm thinking they may have updated the 1.5 and 2.5 everywhere and not told anyone about it. I'll be honest, that compressor wheel looks an awful lot like the one I have. I was surprised when it showed up.
