I had an issue comparing two maps from different years that made me realize I have to full on remove ALL definitions from RR and only have the ONE i need in there at all to feel like I have full trust in what I am seeing. i use ECU flash to open one def and RR another now when I am comparing.


Also FBK and CL/OL sometimes only popup after the car is connected to the laptop for me. So after the car is connected I set my profile and save it. If you have a tablet and download the sbmm app and have access to a perameter, 100% RR will alsop when its fully connected and set up right.

Remove all the definititions you dontneed from RR (I direct it to a new folder for the specific car that has a a folder layout like this


Car name as the top folder. then at the very least as subfolders
-logs
-roms
-notes

 

Yea I only have the one set of defs for romraider, not ecuflash, those are all loaded. I am only loading the one specific one for the 2021. I was connected to the computer and didnt see it so thought it was odd. I did try 2 different versions of romraider new and older and new and older defs

 

I can see it in the XML for the V290 as well, so not sure why it's not popping when plugged in.

 

Is your ECU ID one of the ones listed in the table

yes, and already tried the 370 version from alpha branch which listed the 2021 and no dice

 

is your ECU ID listed under the parameter; You can find it in learning view

ya its not defined in the normal files since its a newer car

those are the ones I am running actually. Thats what I used to tune it today, but have the missing parameters for CL/OL and FBK

 

The problem is likely the definition doesn't have what you need defined since its a newish car
