Hello all
Second time poster and first time subie owner, 2019 sti limited with 21k on it when purchased. I have put roughly 3.5k on the car since purchase and am ready to perform the oil flush. For those who do change their oil on their own what oil brands and filters do you use?? I read a lot claiming that OE Subaru oil doesn’t do the best so I am looking to fill with something more trustworthy. NOTE: Completely stock, base MAP and filled with 93 as much as possible. I did notice the yellow mustard within the fill port for the oil and that alone was enough to make me buckle down to get this done. I know it’s normal but still not a very pretty sight to see. Any response is great and is highly appreciated.

I really hope this is not insight into your diagnostic skills as a doctor. You're sticking with something that is a poor assessment and have resulted to short, pointless responses.

"I have made my stand on this subject and if you like to waste your weekend away by posting snarky comments here, enjoy your weekend."

At this point, I recommend you stop.

More personal attacks. Good, why don't we go with that. Your last sentence there appears to be more of a command and some can even view that as a threat, of you being ready to invoke your power as the Super Moderator on an internet forum. So we can either let you continue to take the point and focus on that, or we can also talk about your feeling regarding data collection and more specifically, OA. And of course, exercising your power to ban me is always an option for you too. After all, by following the K.I.S.S. method, it would be consistent with your MO and is probably the most effective path with the least resistance.

I don't think you realize what a personal attack is, or may be a little more of this generation than I originally thought. Calling out the obvious is not an attack. It was a recommendation before progressive discipline starts its course, and that's what will be happening. I hope I don't have to explain what "progressive discipline" is, as it's not a ban and no, I'm not taking this personal. What you have done is continue a behavior you seem to place on me in a negative manner. You've tried to be cute and telling me I could waste my time all weekend, but you're the prime instigator in this childish crap, doing exactly what your snarky comment placed on me. That is not a personal attack, it's calling out the obvious, so don't whine about it.

For someone wanting to "agree to disagree", you keep pressing, and then try to put the blame on someone other than you. Your pride is really showing here. I've tried to keep it on topic of oil and how important sampling is taken in a life and death matter (which you'd think would be along the lines of what a doctor takes to be important). It doesn't meet your 'disagreement', so you continue to run on outside of the context.

Ultimately, I don't think you realize the problem you are here, which I understand, to a point. However, the progressive discipline hurts the OP here, because this thread is done.
