Hi All, I suppose I should post on my SPT boost gauge experience since I started this thread, so here goes. About a month ago I bought one from the dealer & had them install it (mounted on right side of dash). I am very pleased overall. It is nice to see what the turbo & BPV are doing while I drive. The font on the gauge looks VERY similar to the instrumentation, the lighting is a bit different; incandescant as opposed to electroluminescent, but hardly a noticible difference. The needle does flutter a bit if you hit a bump or close the door, but again, no big deal. Overall, again, very happy with the SPT gauge.

That is a good question - I don't know actually. I may still get this since I can't believe this is the first car with a turbo/super I have purchased that does not come with a gauge!

*Bumping* an old thread.

I have my SPT Boost Gauge installed and I'm now thinking of having an AFR-gauge also. Since I wish to have a "standard" visual feeling inside the car, I'd like to get another SPT Pod that shipped with my original Boost Gauge.

Does anyone know whether you can buy just the gauge pod as spare part from somewhere?

Also, if you got the SPT Boost gauge but have installed it on a different pod, if you are interrested in selling the original pod, please PM me. Thanks!

How similiar is the wiring harness to the old Lamco? Has anyone successfully put this in place of the lamco for a GD?

Just ordered my SPT boost gauge from the dealer, lowered the price to $200. I saw subarupartsmall had it for $187 but wasn't sure if that included shipping or not.


I need your opinions on this one:
I'm undecided whether to have the dealer install the boost gauge for me for another $150+ or if I should just install it myself ???

got rid of my SPT gauge, and install a Defi Red Racer. The Red Racer fits into the SPT cup just right and I don't have to use Defi's mounting bracket.
