Mine comes on at almost empty, I get about 30 miles after the light comes on

 

Should come on when its almost empty , i dont think that's normal

 

It is either normal or 07EVO's car and mine have a problem. :lol:

I am leaning on the normal side for now.

 

My light comes on when it's pretty much empty, (07)!!! Only seen it once!!!

 

Yea, comes on and at max i take it an extra 25 to 30 miles

 

My 07 would come on at the last mark on the gauge. Not sure if normal or not. I think every car may be a bit different on this.

 

Mine comes on when its almost at the very bottom of the gauge almost close to empty, I have only seen it come on once.....
I would imagine it is possible for the light to come on earlier if you are driving on steep hills, going up and down hills shifts the gas in the tank and sometimes slightly changes the reading in the gas gauge

 

Mine comes on at that time too. But according to the gas pump and rated capacity of the tank, it comes out to be about 4 gallons remaining when the light comes on which is about the same for all Japanese cars.

I'm so used to the 06 fuel light coming on earlier. I've also only seen once on my 07.

Better gearing and longer time for the gas light to come on FTW!!! :lol:

 

Yep, pretty normal. I've only seen it a couple of times since I do NOT like running low on fuel.

I've only had the low fuel light come on once, and it was at E.

It never comes on now, I think I may have bent the float a little when I installed the Walbro. :lol:

 

I've had my light come on more then once in my '07, it comes on halfway between 1/4 and empty mark. If I refuel right when it comes on it will take 13.3 gallons and I think our tanks are 15.9 gallons.

 

I've had an 04 and 07. My 04 light came on much earlier when comparing it to the 07. Like you said before.....the 07 is pretty much EMPTY, but the 04 light came on between the E line and 1/4 line.
