I'm trying to make my car less of a cop magnet and I'm ditching my turboxs straight through axle back. I was originally planning on getting their 'standard' looking muffler since it was quieter, looked stock (more stock looking than actual stock in my opinion), but wouldn't hurt my performance noticeably. It was also much cheaper and more convenient since it would just bolt up to the midpipe. Then I found out it's actually a 2.5" axle back.
I have the turboxs 4" DP, 3" race pipe, and 3" midpipe. It's protuned making 322hp 354ft/lbs at the wheels on the stock turbo. I imagine it's set up to maximize on everything it has since those seem like higher end numbers for relatively few mods, but at the same time I don't really know if that's true or if that would even matter. Would going down to the 2.5 inch make a noticeable difference? Also, regardless of what it might do would it be any different than putting the stock axle back on?
Thanks
