So i have been on here since 2004 browsing
and i cam close to buying an 04 but $ did not work my way
so i waited and waited and saved
and Got an 05 sti silver/silver in Oct of 04 in WV for
32k out the door
took a bit of haggling
but it was worth it

So here are the first pics of my car

by far the best mod has been the legacy seats and the black wrx seats
a big pain to install and swap but the lumbar is far superior

on the other hand the wrx trunk swap was easy and has been great as far as review view and "downforce" hah

typhoon sounds great and now from 50-90 i dont hear the turbo whine and def. noticed the power diff after the ecu reset

and the last notable thing besides debadgin all pink stickies is the pioneer radio with the ipod hook up thru the glove compartment
everything works great and the subs work well too,
now swapping out all the dash leds and such to blue and painted the clock blue to match the radio and the gauges

This was probably the busiest 3 weeks of my life!

oh ya tints too 8)

only things left are fog lights and then some sway bars and some jdm pinks probably by xmas

Nice.

But IMHO nothing beats the stock look.

ill get some more pics up of the seats
it was a long process
i swapped with a wrx then sold the two front and then
bought 01 legacy seats with power and heated
there were only four bolts but...
on the legacy i had to do some strange things to make fit.
In retrospect i would want to find 04/05 legacy seats but that would be nearly
impossible.

nope i bought them off brian (brianGT) who is on this forum and also big time on wrxatlanta....he got them from his evo 8 he bought..
most of you know him from his wifes car (the sti with chunky pink wheels!! and the gte sponser)..great guy ...long drive thou from atlanta,GA to nyc to get them!

btw i grew up in potomac.. do u go to rockville friday night meets? or dcawd at DB?

ex lax ?! phht just give me some nos energy drink and a cup of coffee in the morning with nothing to eat :lol: i'm sure you all wanted to know that.... seat are awesome man! i really want to do that myslef. those or some evo 9 clothe seats. they don't have that purple bs on them

Pull the emergency brake a little bit until the brake light appears, this will send a signal to the DCCD computer and disconnect center diff. Step on the brake and gas pedal (heel and toe). Simply move DCCD to the end and launch the car. Try to regulate brake pressure so the rear brakes spin free of brake and keep it rev."
i hope you aren't doing burnouts in this car
