I just recently acquired a 2004 PSM STI. I got it a month back or so and finally and getting to actually enjoy driving it. When I first got it the car had some major problems. Would not boost correctly and just stuttered when getting into boost. Previous owner didnt really take car of this car very well. I work at a shop so the first day after picking the car up i brought it into the shop to figure out what was going on. The car ran like crap with the MAF sensor plugged in. So I assumed it needed a new MAF sensor, but before i just started throwing parts at it, I pulled the TMIC to check for any pinched or unplugged vacuum lines. Found three or four unplugged, so i attached them and zip tied them. Plugged the MAF sensor in and walah it ran like it should. The car also was un-tuned which was dumb for the mods. It is now tuned and runs like a million bucks. Im just slowly fixing what the previous owner did. Now I am waiting for some extra cash for dyno time. I am picking up some injectors and a fuel pump this weekend hopefully. The condition of the car on the outside is pretty bad as well. My plan is to re paint the entire car and fix all the exterior problems. It needs a right front fender and a small dent taken out of the drivers side rear quarter panel. It also needs the front bumper splitters. Those were not on the vehicle the day I picked it up.

Current mods as the day I picked it up.
Stock motor and head
stock fuel pump and injectors
Blouch 20g-xt turbo
perrin intake
perrin catless down pipe
perrin up pipe
no name cat back exahust

A week after I got the car I bought the Cobb AP.
Cobb Access Port v2 running a base tune for my mods. I will be getting it dyno tuned after I acquire the rest of my mods needed for e85.

My plans for this car is to basically fix what the previous owner didn't finish. Get new injectors and a fuel pump capable of e-85. Re paint the car and fix the body work the previous owner screwed up.
It wont be all at once so I made this thread to show the progress of the car. Thanks for checking the build thread out.
If you have any comments or advice please feel free to chime in.
Thanks again

Hahaha nice.
Just picked up a couple AEM gauges. Aem wideband and oil pressure with a 3 gauge pod to replace the stock clock location. Going to order a newer boost gauge hopefully this weekend. Cant wait to get these things in. Next on the list is injectors and a pump.:D
Just ordered a new DW 320lph fuel pump :)
is it safe to run an aftermarket turbo without getting injectors for the time being?

im getting an fp red, but was gonna get injectors a few weeks after i get the turbo...

would it be possible to run the fp red with stock injectors for a few weeks, or would it be better to get injectors and run stock tmic until i got a fmic a month or so later??
