new STi vs. EVO 8
Subaru will not be making a coupe for a while. The hard facts are that the old Impreza coupe made up less than 10% of Impreza sales worldwide. They decided the cost of designing a coupe when they redesigned the Impreza was too high.
It is a pitty, since I'm a big coupe fan. But I understand where they're coming from.
Maybe if enough people make a stink, they'll reconsider.

Coupes have a higher insurance premium, do they not?
I dunno...it's kinda funny my coworkers are a little surprised to find that my WRX is a 4-door. I guess they think it looks like a coupe. I prefer sports sedans myself, and when the STi comes out I'll opt for the 4-door (if you can even opt for one at that point)

Rear Wing questions
True they are more expensive I'm driving a 93 Probe GT and insurance is higher. But I think when the Sti comes out Insurace companies are going to know this isn't any plain old fourdoor and that it is highly tuned so I think insurance is going to be higher than the other imprezas anyway.

I personally love the idea of a really fast sedan. The idea of the M5 is bad!! I have thought of a couple things for the STi when it gets here. One of them would be make it a sleeper. I think either an RS hood or a carbon fiber one would do very nicely after the FMIC.
There are tons of ways to make the STi look like just another import sedan and that is sweet. If its a coupe it immediately looks faster than the sedan.

That's one of the things I like about the car...especially if you get one of the "mellower" colors like silver and debadge it...people with cars that look like they were extras in "The Fast and the Furious" might not realize how many horses you got under the hood, not to mention the superior handling. I've had people try to race me in my WRX and I just laugh at them.
By the way, is there gonna be a WRX or an STi in The Fast and the Furious 2? I thought I read something about that...if it is I'd bet it would have to be an STi...

I dunno about the Fast and the Furious2. At this point I don't really care. I think the first one was neat and worth watching once b/c of the cars, but that's about it.
Yeah I love the idea of a stealth car. I will probably keep mine stock for awhile until I start modding it, then I might go the stealth route in the Blue/Black Mica...that would make the guys in their "hot rods" think twice after they see my tail lights.
