it's called anti-lag. it allows the turbo to remain on boost at all times. as far as getting one, it's a function of engine managment, and a lot of stand alone systems will do it (it has to do with radically retarding timing).
you don't want it on a street car. your cats will last about 20 miles and you'll need a new turbo about once a week. does sound cool though.

Yup....race only stuff. You'd throw your exhaust at the car behind ya within a week.

that must be the reason they have spark plugs at the back of the exhaust to burn the rest of the fuel from the retarded ignition mode :roll:
