Hey guys, just curious if anyone can help me pick out the right size winters for my car. Looking to put a set of winters on a higher profile tire. The car currently has the stock rims with 245/40R18 97W rubber. But looking for a 16 or 17 inch winter rim instead, but unsure what size tire to get. If anyone could give me some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Or let me know what you run for a winter tire. Thanks in advance!

I have the Continental WinterContacts which I believe have been replaced by the VikingContact line. They're excellent for the price. I'm in my third winter with them and the performance in snow and ice has been great and they're wearing at what seems to be a very reasonable rate. You can shop a tire and wheel combo through sites such as Tire Rack.
