Just did my 2.5 xtr build. Ask your tuner for a base map via email. You'll need for the drive to the shop anyway. Plus all leaks may not be apparent at idle.
That's the only real way to check for leaks.You can also use an air compressor and pressurize the intake system to check for leaks.
Installing the MAF sensor backwards would cause that same outcome on a proper tune and throw no code. Found that out after doing my first boost test ha. Scary, but a simple fix.Also my car dies after I start it . I think I have all the vacuum lines hooked up , and the car does START, but then immediatly dies.
