New member here, but long time lurker. I have been using RR to log my 2013 STI Sedan, and getting a e-tune. My tuner wanted me to install a wideband. I got the Wideband installed and working just fine. But I can't get it to work with RR logger. I bought a DB-9 Male plug and have the blue wire from the wide band (AEM X-Series 30-0300) to the #2 pin and The wire from #5 pin to ground. I have a female serial adapter to usb cable going to my lap top. I installed the drivers for the cable and it is set up on com 3. When I have RR Logger pulled up and select the AEM Wideband from the external list, it never reads anything other then zero. What am I doing wrong? If I have posted this in the wrong section I'm sorry.

Back when I did more tuning with RomRaider, there was a specific chip needed in the serial adapter. I don't recall specifics as it's been many years, but you might try a new adapter.

Ok I’ll have to look into that I didn’t realize there was anything special about them that I need to get.

You can find some of the Gigaware adapters on ebay, I think this one will also work: RadioShack 6' USB-A to Serial Cable

USB to TTL UART 3V3 Serial Cable with FTDI Chip 3.3V TTL to 3.5mm Audio Jack Output

And then selecting the PLX wide band controller from the external devices tab. There is also a thread in the romraider forum about how to build one of these.. for which i also have the boards, but subsequently found the pre-built cable on amazon.
