Why doesn't that STi have those fancy HID lights and what the heck is that thing on top of it that sticks up? Not the antenna :smile:

No HID lights because it is extra weight and a "luxury" item.

The thing on top is a roof vent. STi-RA's don't come with AC. :wink:

STi-RA's are basically stripped, bare-bones versions of the STi. No radio, no ac, no power locks/windows, nothing to add extra weight. Most of them are used for Group N rallying or Road Race/Gymkahana cars.

They also only come in white, because most users just repaint them with some real paint anyway.. :smile:

The STi type RA spec C has the following wheels:

According to altavista babelfish...that states the following:
BBS make forging 1BBS make forging 17 inch aluminum wheel 7 inch aluminum wheel

I think alfredob1 has just about nailed it.

The Prodrive P1 17X7's in Gold also look nice. Again on tirerack.com, select the vehicle as a 2002 WRX set filter on 17's and you can view them. They are number 20 something of 27 possibles.

Haha; look, they shaved a few more ounces by deleting the the big center caps. BTW, what's written on the smaller black center caps used on the Spec C.

thermite - you can always powdercoat the BBS RV's if importing a set from Japan gets too rediculous.
