Ok I know the Hawaii folks have got to be broken in by now. Possibly even some US folks to.

So I'll start off the questions for the owners that have gptten to push their cars and live with them for a little while.

How bad is the ride quality?

Please describe the handling throughout the range of driving styles. Does it need to be pushed to the limits to experience bad oversteer?

Are the seats really that unsupportive during cornering?

What kind of gas mileage are you getting?

How is the pull on the freeway when you downshift and nail it? V8 like power that plants you into the seat?

How loud are the tires in normal driving in the city?



That should be a good start. I'm still not 100% convinced the STi is the best car for me. You good folks have, or will have the info that can really help the decision be an educated one.

I've read that old post but thanks for the help. I'll see if I can find the Hawaii thread here also.

Hopefully we can get some of these questions answered first hand from owners...and compare the info to the rag reviews.

I agree with you. I would like to hear stuff from them as well. I check the I-Club forum every day and have not seen any indication that they're out of the break-in period...

You can also check out ClubWRXForum, a couple of the guys over there are in Hawaii and have the new cars. They have been posting to let us stateside drool and let us know how it's riding.SFRinNJ

Reports from Car and Driver I believe said the tires are extremely noisy, especially on somewhat grippy-rough surfaces.
