I'll take a wild guess... due to the thickness and machine marks on the inside I'd say aluminum :p

That is sort of a turn off then. Aluminum while corrosion resistant is not corrosion proof the same as a stainless steel or Ti.

Why? And believe me if there were made a Ti alloy wheel that was within my budget I would have bought them.

Corrosion in aluminum is self-passivating with a layer of hard oxide. So, unlike steel, corrosion to the point of perforation doesn't happen unless there is an erosion of the oxide (e.g. via fast moving cooling water in thin-walled aluminum tubing.) Corrosion of a part like this is of no functional consequence. Furthermore, anodizing reduces corrosion to the point that, in our climate at least, corrosion isn't even a cosmetic issue on a part like this.

Titanium is a completely stupid material for anything that doesn't have to deal with high temperatures and the specific strength of stainless steels makes them a relatively poor choice for unsprung components.

I've got a pair of these going on next Tuesday. :D

We were one of the first shops in the states to get a set of these to test and have been running these arms on our BRZ since July. The car has been daily driven through all elements and still look brand new other than the dirt and road grime I had to wipe off.

BTW, these went on without a hitch. I haven't tossed the car around enough yet to know if I have achieved what I meant to, but there were no issues with the arms or their installation and alignment.
