I'm curious what peeps think the STi will sport, as far as performance goes. Will it have a VF35, forged pistons, 500+ cc injectors, higher flowing fuel pump, etc? How much boost will it probably run? I know STi's traditionally run significantly more boost than non-STi WRX's.

Well one, Japanese sites are saying that the new internals are in fact cast again. They are 1.4x stronger than the previous forged internals.

As for the turbo, with the twin scroll technology, I would doubt it's a VF35.

As for the little details like the fuel pump....I doubt it will be known or documented until they show up in garages.

Will it have AVTS? Hopefully. They'll probably need it to help clear emissions.

Is that the variable timing on the engine? Yes, it will..rumored anyhow..

Tell me more about this...is this a feature that gives the low end turbo spool up of a small turbo, yet allows the turbo to hold boost all the way to redline, like the turbos Corky Bell refers to in Maximum Boost?
