I've been waiting since August for my new job to take hold so I can buy a WRX. Now I've got the job but I've forced myself to wait for the STi. I have a ton of dealers in my area saying "We'll have it in March" but Worm and other sources have said at least May for the first allocation. Anyone out there have any good "speculation?" :D

I have heard, for Canada at least but probably true in the US too, that the STi would come to dealers in the form of a tester in March or May, but would not be available for public delivery until June or July. Too long to wait, I agree. But I have been waiting for the STi for the past year when I bought my WRX, so what is another six months for me? The answer to that is TOO FAR OFF!

Yup May sounds like the leading vote... *CRY* I just hope my 93 talon with 145k miles on it makes it till then.... You guys that have a WRX are lucky, at least you have 1/2 the car of the STi, I've got 1/10th.

HAHA and the 1G dsm's were the reliable ones of the group. 90-94 = strong engine. 95+ you get crank walk if you look at it sideways. No I have a 2.0 NA, auto, man, i wish i had boost. oh well 5 1/2 months + and counting. My father knows a guy that is a regional sales trainer, I'm gonna call him tomorrow and see what info I can get outta him about the STi. He's known for making deals for people at local dealers that he works with. Maybe he can get me on a list at a big dealer in my area (NYC). So far NO dealers are taking deposits or making lists. WTF!!!
