well im 17 and the insurance is HUGE for me on those i need sport compact or sport sedan

i know whatcha mean...when iwas 17....16 years ago...id had never thought of getting a new car.....i threw down 7k on a 68 gto when i was 19 and never looked back...til i had to smog it. Getting an STI when you're 17 isnt the wisest investment to make unless you have money to waste. Its a high performance car, and unless you know what you're doing, you can get yourself in serious trouble. If i were you, id start off on something with a lower threshold limit. Believe it or not, 92-95 and 96-99 civics with B18s are a common cheap easy car to go with...and they're pretty fun and wont run you 250 bucks a month in insurance.
