I am looking into widebody kits, but I was wondering, what is all involved with it. I would think the front bumper, front fenders, and side skirts would be mostly bolted on. How is the rear wide fenders, and bumper attached to the car? How much actual body work is involved? and average prices people pay to get such a kit installed? Thanks

well, if it is a good kit, it will replace it.

Cut old metal out, form new metal in, blend, paint.

Front fenders are probably just replacements.

Oh, and you are looking for basically a couple grand at least, body work and new paint on quite a bit of the car.

well...lets take the charge speed kit for example.

you'll have to install everything, and if you want a clean fit you beeter find a good body shop :D. They will have to blend(bondo) the fenders into the body. You'll need larger rims.

chargespeed = 3200 (deal on here somewhere)
body work = 4000+ with paint
rims= 18 or 19s by like 9.5 or 10.5 = 1500+(depending on what you get)
tires = 700+

so ya....wide body is baller status ::tup::
