I love the new ones also and they are brighter which for rallying, the better visibilty of them, was the main reason for the redesign. That is why they are even different than the 04 WRX which I was supprised to notice.

the new ones rock! i love not just the dip, but also the raise disk that makes the dip. i dunno how you would do a swap; how will you fill the dip in the body/fender cover?

?? the taillights look the same for the 04 wrx and sti. what am i missing?

It might only be on the wagons. There is an 04 wagon where I work and the brake light is reversed on it compared to my STi. On the STi the reverse lights are on top with the bottom and big round dip part being the brake light, on the wagon it is the opposite.
