Is anyone else experiencing erroneous GPS derived speed (always higher than actual speed) in the Waze app via CarPlay? I don't have the mph/kph mode switched on, its all over the place, reading anywhere from 2-3 mph high to reporting I am driving 114 mph when I'm driving 60 mph.

I've read threads going back a few years with simlar issues with Ford's Sync system and CarPlay, but not for Subaru. Latest change is a update I made to iOS13....I'm guessing that all of the additional features they added to CarPlay and Waze (example: you can navigate and see music selections now) have resulting in this glitch.

Hmm.. I'll have to look. I usually don't because it's just telling me I'm speeding anyways. lol... I do like some of the stuff the iOS update did though. Switching screens on your phone doesn't kick you out of Waze anymore which was annoying. Still doesn't want to give me route options when you enter destination.. but that could very well be me just not knowing how to get it to do it...

It must be the update; because my 2015 has an aftermarket system with Apple CarPlay and yes my Waze app keeps showing the wrong speed lol

I agree. It's driving me crazy; the speedo display on Waze works fine in my wife's 2018 Honda CR-V with factory CarPlay using my phone.....must be an incompatibility between my aftermarket Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX and the update. Hopefully either Pioneer will issue a firmware update or the next iOS will fix whatever is causing it....
