Doesn't it void the manufactures warranty when you modify any parts of the engine??? Just wondering because I see all these people putting BOV's and cold air intakes and new ECU's already on there STI's.

NO NO NO NO...

no such as thing as "voiding" a warranty. they can REJECT your claim though.

but think logically. you add a new radio. your turbo goes out. do you have a claim? yes.

but now, your HVAC goes out. the dealer inspects it and finds that your crappy install of the new radio killed the HVAC. they reject your claim. you end up paying.

get it? so a BOV might do damage to the engine. that might be enough to deny you.

Yeah Yeah I understand all that but I have heard horror stories from my local suby dealer about someone having a modified exaust and the company refusing warranty because they said the exaust aloud the owner to drive the car harder or something to that nature.
