I emailed Vishnu performance a little while back and they said that they are preparing an entire line of performance upgrades (Stage1-3) for the specifically for the STi.

You gotta wonder how much of an impact their mods will make.

I'll personally shy away from Vishnu and anyone else who uses a piggy-back ECU in their upgrades....especially with the EVCS. I don't want to mess up any sensor signals by using a piggy-back ECU.

I'll wait to see what Prodrive USA has to offer....retains the factory warranty baby!!

May or may not....they haven't developed the system yet that I know of. Since they reprogram the ECU instead of using a piggy-back, I'd say they have a better chance than anyone else. Even if it doesn't retain the warranty, I'll go with the package that doesn't tamper with the knock sensor signal. I'm not a big fan of detonation.

I have no idea, honestly. But when I think about it, the odds aren't exactly stacked in our favor. Since its only us and Canada getting the 2.5, there isn't an overly large market for such a system.

From there it just depends on how much it takes to adapt their current system to the 2.5. If its an easy conversion, we have a great chance. If its going to take another $1,000,000 in development, we're screwed.

As far as what I think...I think Prodrive USA better get on the horn with SOA and start working on some ECU programming, because I'd pay the extra money to mod a car "the right way"....and I don't think I'm alone

First of all i would wait awhile for some info to surface before i start singing Prodrives prasises from the mountain top. We have no idea if they are making a usdm sti package(they probably will). Then if they do we have no idea if it will be factory backed and not void the warranty. I personally have already been on the horn with my buddies at JUN AUTO MECHANIC and i like what they do to cars. I have already done 2 builds with their products. I don't think i will go with a prodrive package cause it won't be enough for me and i only like to use Japanese tuning companys products. That may be narrow minded but in my opinion the absolute best stuff comes from Japan. Pro-drive does make some fantastic rims though, GC-06D's are the BOMB!!!!Peace!!

Prodrive is making a package for the sti. Actually 3 pacakges just like they do for the wrx. It will be stage 1 - 3 PPP. They are not going to be warrantied from the factory at this time. And they do not have power outputs of the stages just yet. But be patient. They are working on the stages now and should be out shortly.
