Vishnu has a Stage Zero package available now for the EVO. $1600 gets you a XEDE engine controller and a cat-back 3" exhaust system with 4" tip. 15% power gain for estimated 310 engine hp. On 91 octane CA gas as well. The dyno charts look really nice, with no losses in torque or hp anywhere, some mild gains in the sub-3500 rpm range, and big gains from 5000 up.

I'm hoping that Shiv won't concentrate on the Evo so much that he neglects us (soon to be) STi owners -- hopefully he'll be so quick to come with something similar for us. Meanwhile, good work on the EVO! That will make it a really fast track car. Fortunately for me, anyone running it will be thrown out of stock and street prepared SCCA classes since it mucks with boost.

I can't say if Prodrive is better, but they certainly are the ones largely responsible for the WRC car for Subaru and they have a very strong tie to Subaru performance in general...

In the UK the Prodrive Performance Pack is a dealer installed option. I hope we get something like this for the US STi.

I would say that Prodrive has more experience than anyone tuning the various Impreza lines. They've been working with production STi model cars for years now. Don't forget also that they have a direct line to Subaru.
