V1 false laser warning in STi?

I don't know if it's just me but my V1 seems to give a lot of false laser warnings in my STi. No more than I start it up and am sitting there letting her warm up and my V1 goes off with a laser warning and then a few times while driving it in the middle of no where. During my daily commutes in my Legacy it does not do this.

Anyone else notice this?

Yeah, it's not even LED brakes that do it. I was at a new traffic light the other night and got it from the bright red lights. But the third brake lights on several cars has set mine off.

If you aren't around any light sources.....that's interesting. All cases of my laser have been near a source of intense light of some sort.
Hmm....wonder what the deal is. I really hope there isn't something about the STi that is giving off signals.

I'll try to back you up here in a few weeks.....
Wow...that's disappointing to hear. I'd contact Valentine and see what they say.

What do you mean by "smaller one"? I thought they had used the exact same chassis since inception?
Hmm...that's news.

Let us know what you hear from V1....I'm kinda worried about this. I'm hoping this isn't something that gets added to the list of cars that can't use radar detectors

- Cars with metallic coatings
- STis....not sure why, but it's just FUBARed

Is yours a newer unit, bat?

Wish I could test mine....but I'm missing the important piece....grrr. Mine's brand new (2 months).....maybe we'll see a diff in the reaction of the different models.
Sweet....hopefully that's the case and we can get you all set MKIV.

WRX XB9R, where were the instant traps? I've only been in KC for a month or so now, but I've never run across an area that was setup as a trap.
