I signed up at impreza.subaru.com for updates and I didn't get any updates and I just looked just for fun and there was this new article posted there and no email to tell me it was there!

Oh well...check it out, under Get Impreza News, article entitled STill the King...mentions that the STi will be between $29 and $32K...the only mention of price on the official site currently...

Well.....call me Internet incompetent but I can't manage to pull this up. I logged onto www.impreza.subaru.com and pulled up the news but all I saw was the initial press release dated 1/6/03. Can someone post a link or something?

I hadn't read the Edmunds review either...not that I care what Edmunds thinks. Personally, I think they are the most overrated group of so-called "auto critics". Regardless......I found this quote from their writeup quite humorous.

Why should you care?

Three hundred horsepower, a driver-adjustable differential, a Super Sport ABS system — are you kidding me? When the STi finally goes on sale this summer it will be one of the most highly anticipated performance sedans ever to hit the States. About the only enthusiasts not overwhelmingly excited to see the new STi are the ones who already have their deposit down on a Lancer Evolution
