The time has come to post my STi up for sale after owning it for 9 years.


I'll start off with the bad... (pretty much just cosmetic)

I was hit back in 2011 in some freak 3 vehicle collision. I got hit on both passenger side doors and rear bumper by a spinning car next to me. Damage was minimal, airbags did not deploy, but the repair shop wanted to replace both passenger side doors and the rear bumper.


Then again in 2017, while parked at school in the parking garage, I got backed up into on the same side. Right between both doors. Of course there were no cameras where I parked so there was no one to blame. I never got around to fixing the damage, I had other things going on that took priority over this. Looks like it can be fixed with some PDR. It's just a dent on the right rear passenger door.


Front hood has a dent from someone dropping something heavy in my own garage during a family gathering and of course no one wanted to take the blame.


Rear bumper got hit with what I assume was a shopping cart, multiple occasions. On the driver side, it hit the corner of the quarter panel between the bumper. The rear bumper might need to be repainted, but it never bothered me.


Front grill has some stain from acid dropping or something, it stained the paint on the bumper as well.

Front bumper needs to be repainted for sure, 9 years of daily driving took their toll. Rock chips and the bottom part of the bumper has started to crack. I have a front lip on currently that somewhat helped. Bumper corners are doing the infamous non flush fitment where the corners wont sit flush to the clips, was going to do a bumper quick release, but never got around do doing that.

Steering wheel shakes a bit when going past 80 mph, but I will get this fixed before selling the car.

Radiator just gave out, will be replacing with a new one before selling the car.

Of the top of my head, that's all I can remember.

October 2019 - Clutch, flywheel, axles, pitch stop mount, and transmission mount were replaced.

May - June 2020 - Replaced fp20g with a used (3k miles) Tomei ARMS 8265 turbo and car was tuned to 17psi.

Compression and leakdown were checked on predyno run: Don't remember the exact numbers for compression, but they were all within 120-130 and leak down was within "spec" and good according to the tuner. He wouldn't had ran it on the dyno if it weren't good to go.

Motul X-cess 5w-40 oil changes done every 3000 miles
