You need to bypass water cooling lines. You will notice on the stock turbo setup that the top hose connects to the little reservoir and the bottom hose goes back to the block. You will need to go to the parts store and purchase some heater hose of the same diameter as the water cooling hoses. Then all you have to do is connect heater hose to the cooling reservoir and connect the other end to the block. This will bypass the turbo completely. Here are some pics to help:

yes and in my opinion are the way to go for longevity
