Hi,

I would like to have your 'personal' feedback on the following tires:
- Pirelli PZero Nero
- Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3
- and Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S-03

I have already read the reviews on the Tirerack....but I would like to hear from you guys and hope you can help me make a good decisions.

The primary use of the tire would be road use, with some occasional track time. I want something that grips equally well in dry and wet and has a good lifespan!

Thanks for your help!

Alex

F1s are fairly new design.. Supposedly GY built it to beat up on S03s, design is aggressive, but I am not sure if its better than S3s..
Try bimmer.org or e46 fanatics.. Lots of BMW fans got tons of money to spare so they buy all those expensive tires for their M3s and provide opinions..
I had S03s myself and I loved them.. Super sticky, pretty quiet and wet performance was excellent..
Kumho is much cheaper brand with excellent performance for the money...
Also Look into Yokohama AVS sport. excellent tire as well..

S02 were comparable, also one of the best on the market and I did hear reports of some people liking them over S03 (I think S02s were a little stickier @ the expense of shorter life span and wet performance)..
I paid $225 each for mine S03s.. installed...
As I said, most Sti people should be able to afford, if u in financial burden, go for Kumho...

Thanks for the info guys!

You have talked about the S03 and F1, but not about the Pirello PZero Nero....Do you have any knowledge of those tires and how they stack up to the S03 and F1?

Right now, with the feedback I have from you, I'm going to sitck with my original choice of S03.....but what about the PZero Nero?

Thanks!
