This 2008 STI was one of the Subaru Factory backed cars that competed in the Grand-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge during the 2010 racing year by SRRT, SubaruRaodRacingTeam which was a part of the Phoenix Performance team -->
Phoenix Performance

This car along with the other hatch for '10 and the sedans for '11 & '12 were developed buy the Aquilante's at Phoenix and John Heinricy, who was the technical director of the team.

If the name John Heinricy sounds familiar, it should he was a lead engineer and Director of High Performance Vehicles at GM for years and a very accomplished road racer. He is also the guy that GM sent to the Nürburgring to run a sub 8 min lap in the CTS-v.

If you could can you list all the parts and specs on this badboy. Curious about suspension mods, bushings, control arms used, chassis braces, etc. thanks.

Mine are 18x10+38
when the car was stripped how do you get around all the airbag and seat beeps and alarms without removing the body control module? or did you do this? if so how do you function the dccd?

thanks!

Easy the exhaust is so loud you cant hear the beeps and dings... problem solved. At idle you can hear one, but any other throttle position you can hear anything. Peltor Intercom Helmets required with this car.
Lots of new photos of the Targa posted on the cars page --> therubysubie

Bunch of video will soon follow.

Were very pumped to have a photo chosen for the 2014 iwsti Calendar. That photo was actually on the cover of the sports section of the Newfoundland newspaper during the 2013 running of Targa Newfoundland.
Got arround to editing some video from the last rally.

This was a longer stage, by the end we backed off since we were under time, then things got a bit crazy with 4 cars bumper to bumper.

Holy crap, I knew that car looked familiar. Remember me? I asked you if you had a spare axle during targa NL when we broke down in the 04 sti. We never did get a replacement in time.. It sucked but there is always next year. You planning on coming again?
