In early Aug, 2012, I sold my FD of 9 years...and what a great 9 years it had been! I was sad to see it go, but I knew I had my fun and it was now someone else turn!

I Had a 2010 Genesis coupe 2.0 turbo track as a daily and that just wasn't enough. It was a fun car to scoot around in, but, It lacked the power the FD had...plus, it was still a Hyundai ;)

...So, now I had a void to fill, I knew the perfect combination of power and handling could only come from one place (that I could afford). When the GR was released I loved what Subaru had done! Now, I could finally have one!... So, I did.
I searched and searched for either a black or satin white pearl but they sold before I could even get someone on the phone. One morning I woke up around 8am, received a notification on my phone from a local Subaru dealer and called. The receptionist kindly informed me that nobody was there, they don't even open until 9am. I left a message for someone to call. Being as impatient as I am, I called a 8:55 and spoke with the sales manager. He informed me that the car had not yet arrived and had just been accepted in the port. I put the deposit down with him over the phone just then. The car was scheduled to arrive while I was on vacation 2 weeks later, and it did!. While in Michigan, the kind salesman texted me pics of my delivery! When I returned to Florida, after the weekend, I went to take delivery, here we are:

I was anxious to get a few things done, tint 1st, paint sealer 2nd....this is Florida, coilovers and wheels. I ordered the accessport just being eager....I was fully aware that I wanted to properly brake in the wizard, so until then just suspension/cosmetic stuff.
with tint:

Then these lovlies arrived!

.....Like a wizard on skates

a few days later:

while these are gorgeous wheels and all, they were not for my taste.... I was disappointed... I sold them to a nice young man in NJ. And ordered these:

18x9.5 +38 all around in Matte bronze

and here we are:

I received a few other goods as well, my birthday is in August and being in the car scene, everyone who knows you knows you like cars and everyone you know loves them just as much! I received a Perrin strut brace and some cobb shifter bushings, perfect gifts for a new Sti owner!
Also, I just ordered some s206 side skirts and a CS front lip!! Pics to come!

Quick pic of the side skirts painted and mounted, I plan on posting better ones when it stops raining of course:

So, after I painted the lip and side skirts the dark matte bronze to match the wheels, the front grille no longer matched, it looked terrible rather. The Graphite grey trim below the gloss black clashed in a terrible way, so I removed it and painted it matte black, what a difference that made!! Here are some better pics:

02/24/2013: Its been a while, here is a review since my last update. I haven't upgraded/changed much. I added some whiteline front and rear swaybars and Some cosmetic work to the bumber molding around the exhaust to clean-up the accumulation of yellow staining. My next goal is a turbo/fuel upgrade but that is going to take some saving to get to :) so in the mean time, here are some more pics:

Nice ride man! I really like your wheel choice! Could you post some more pictures. Im highly debating them.
Thanks! I will be updating pics soon :)
Oh... Little typo, I think you mean *woman*
I definitely recommend the wheels by the way, they look great and fit the GR so well!

good choice on wheels! i have the same size on my XT7's and love the fitment especially since i'm running a 275 tire.

what camber plates did you get for the v3's?
Thanks! The V3's are designed to run the factory top hats, I used just that. You can always upgrade of course.

Did you get this from Mastro Subaru? If so this was the first swp 12 I'd seen, looks good! I saw it while my car there waiting for some parts and I was looking around. The FD was nice too!
