Killer B Motorsport HOLY HEADER - Patent Pending

The Killer B Motorsport Holy Header was developed using state of the art CAD software & simulations to determine optimal design to increase power in the mid to high RPM range. Short as possible primaries with a single secondary significantly decrease header volume allowing exhaust gas pressure to build quickly. Symmetrical 4-1 design maintains high and consistent exhaust velocity as RPMs rise. You can expect faster spool up time compared to long primary/double secondary designs. A difference you will immediately notice in throttle response and the ability to hold more power higher into the revs.

Features include:

•Short Equal Length Primaries. The shortest possible length primaries you can have on an Equal Length header. Short means less header volume and quick spool up.

• Symmetrical Primary Design. All primaries have a similar tube length AND bend geometry. This keeps the pulse velocities high and consistent compared to equal length headers with different (non-symmetrical) primary tubing geometry.

• Smooth Mandrel Bends. All of the bends utilize a mandrel for smooth non-restrictive flow. Not only that, we use the largest bend radius possible at every location.

• Thick Walled 321 Stainless Steel Construction for Long Life. 321 is alloyed with titanium, but it’s the ideal material for high temperature turbocharged applications. Would 304 stainless work, yes, but the temperatures on turbocharged cars can exceed the limits of 304 stainless enough to make them brittle and crack. 321 stainless steel has higher strength and toughness at elevated temperatures. It was developed by the aircraft industry specifically to address 304 stainless manifolds that were cracking. Killer B Motorsport is the only company that manufactures full 321 headers.

• Advance Casting Merge Collector. 321 stainless steel merge collector provides a smooth obstruction free path from the primaries to the secondary. This allows exhaust gases to remain less turbulent, therefor retaining the most speed and heat as possible.

• High Heat Retention. 321 stainless steel conducts less heat than 304 stainless steel. The short primaries and properly sized secondaries also pull less heat from the exhaust gasses increasing turbine efficiency. Large tubing headers expose the exhaust gasses to more surface area transmitting more heat and reducing exhaust energy. You can also ceramic coat our headers (and keep the warranty) without exceeding the temperature range like you can with 304 stainless.

• V-Band Up-Pipe Connection. Why V-Band? Fast, easy, no gasket, no leaks, perfectly concentric alignment of tubes for no disruption of flow.

• Up-Pipe included. This header was designed as a complete system. Using other up-pipes may compromise performance.

• Weighs only 16 pounds (vs. OEM weighs 25 pounds)

• Works with OEM EJ25 Oil Pans, and Killer B Motorsport Performance Aluminum Oil Pan!

• Made in the USA and Killer B quality! Every Header setup is inspected, assembled and pressure tested before it ships to assure a leak free setup!

Swain Tech Coating available as an option. This is the ONLY coating we recommend due to its thermal capability, ability to protect the base material and durability.

OEM gaskets available

I have this on my 2014 hatch
The turbo spools about 500 rpm sooner now & the added exhaust note is addictive !!!
I have a cobb catted dp & bola cat back.
Forget what people say about losing the "subie rumble". The sound is awesome
I have Borla Catback too which is very quiet on it own... would be great if you have a sound clip / video of your exhaust with the KB header. How much louder(if at all) does the KB header make your car sound ?

If one did select your standard v-band offering instead of the 2-bolt version, it comes with a v band connection and on the header as well as an up pipe with v band, yes? The 2 bolt version you reuse the oem or purchase a standard 2 bolt up pipe.

If one were to purchase the v-band setup now and then need EWG in a few years when upgrading to a larger stock location turbo, what's your recommendation for swapping to an appropriate v band EWG up pipe? Is it possible to obtain one from Killer B as if that person had ordered the EWG version from the start? If so, what's a ballpark for what the EWG up pipe would cost at that point?

We appreciate the positive feed back and are glad to know that you are pleased with our product.

It doesnt tend to make the car louder or quiter but more or less just changes the tone. Check out youtube, there are several quality videos to give you an idea.

Yes the standard Holy Header comes with the manifold and the uppipe. Our 2-bolt Holy Header is designed to work with any 2-bolt uppipe on the market, including those desinged for rotated kits.

If you purchase a Holy Header with out the EWG option and down the road deside to want to make the switch to EWG, we offer the upgrade ourselves. With that, you would send in your non EWG uppipe and manifold and we would convert it to EWG. this upgrage is a $428.00 USD option and would come with the dump tube necessary to work with our setup.

Orrrrrrr I just bring you my car and you do all that plus plumb it back into the downpipe maybe? Do you guys do that kind of thing or just work on the parts
We've only done this on our own shop cars. Not on an EJ so far, but we certainly have the capability to do it. Shoot me a PM if you'd like me to put together a quote. The only other details I'd need are what downpipe you've got, any any other components that may be in the way and/or require adjustment/relocation.

Awesome, thanks. I'm trying to plan ahead as much as possible, my plan is to do downpipe, ELH and some supporting bits sometime this summer (along with some suspension things etc). I know I want your header, but still have a bit of an internal debate about which version.

I'm doing some of these things knowing full well I'll probably upgrade the turbo when it's time for a refresh (but I don't plan to go rotated or spoolinator), so while I'll end up duplicating a little bit, I don't want to have a lot of parts to sell or lots of money wasted. I'm just anticipating the potential need for EWG once I start swapping turbos, and I'm looking to tone down the noise in my car, not ramp it up.
