I just saw a blue STi cruising down the road here in Nova Scotia, which I believe is owned by my local dealer rep - not a press car but his PERSONALL CAR! That means that the public cars should be here soon! Unfortuantely I was driving my wifes Blazer loaded down with garden soil, so I could not simply turn around and manuever through traffic to catch up to him and get a better look at the car. I was very surprised to see it as Nova Scotia is on the East Coast, about as far away as you can get in Canada from the port they arrived in.

No, it was a real STi - my dealer confirmed it. But it wasn't a personal car like I thought - the car had come in for dealer "orienteering". Basically the car was in as part of a 2004 model line up familiarization meeting with the dealers. I was told that the STi was supposed to go back on the truck to move on to the next dealer - someone might be in trouble for cruising around with it - I wasn't the only one to spot it and inform the dealer. I don't blame them, I probably would take it out for a joy-ride too!

It was a real STi - the salesperson whom I bought my WRX from and soon to by my STi from said that they were not allowed to invite anyone to the meeting, so I never was given the chance to confirm its presence firsthand and up close, but my eyes do not lie - there was no mistaking what the car was that passed me going the other way.
