STi's have tons of untapped potential for the street, track, and offraod, and everybody has their own opinion of what's hot. List what mods YOU would do to make the ultimate STi!

Ultimate in what sense? drag? autox? track?

Personally here is what i would like done at the end of the project.

APS 70mm CAI
APS DR525 FMIC
Helix v3 catless downpipe
Invidia N1 Race catback
Meth Injection using a Spec C tank as my resovior
Deadbolt Superzilla sz49 Oil and water cooled
Tial 44mm EWG
Forge bpv
Tein Type Flex Coilovers With EDFC controller
Prodrive wheels
820cc injectors? maybe smaller.
gruppe-s unequal length headers
adjustable sways 27-29 rear 22-24 front
CF driveshaft
Walbro Fuel pump
TiC pivot Bushings, klunk killer kit
perrin endlinks
APS turbo inlet pipe.

Thats pretty much what i would like. Im already heading a different dirction but the results should be similer. I have a perrin turbo inlet pipe instead of the aps turbo inlet and i have a 65mm aps cai instead of a 70. Otherwise everything is coming along according to plan.

im not really into cosmetics, im more of a spend money where its hidden kind of a guy.

Cosworth Heads, Block and follow their suggestions on camming and fueling. then I would get a gt35R with a large front mount intercooler. As for running the whole shebang I would put in a programable ECU whatever is most advanced at the time I am doing the project. Suspensions wise, I would go with a set of Ohlin remote reservoir coil overs and a set of adjustable sway bars (then spend hours on a local track dialing in camber, caster, toe, bound rebound, and spring rates). As for brakes I would upgrade to a set of 8 piston fronts and four picton rears either from brembo, Baer, or SSBC. Set them up with a brake balance controller and tune that as well. By the time I was done I would have an empty wallat and a time attack worthy STi.

 Cosworth Heads. Maybe Automaster built block. GT35R w/ EWG of course and throw in AEM EMS of Hydra EMS and a carbon-carbon clutch. I think i have all the supporting mods in terms of power  Suspension is easy, KW V3s with whiteline f/r sway bars with Perrin/kartboy endlinks. Add TiC super shifter set with all the bushings and kartboy shortshifter. I believe a simple yet effective setup is best so it's easier to trouble-shoot problems since you have less things to look over.

This is just the main parts i would do, if it was all the small parrts it would be too long.

Engine/tranny wise, Built EZ30R with a GT35R. All the baller tranny parts too
Suspension wise, Moton's or ohlins coilovers, whiteline sways
Exterior wise, APR widebody with some light, wide wheels/tires

Uh... easy. The two baddest STis on the planet are the Prodrive WRC STI and the Team Orange D1 STi. So whatever they have I guess.

I would definitely go with an automaster block. I would honestly just call them up and get a turn key package. They build some insane subarus. I am saving up for there AMR TP 2.7L shortblock :naughty:

Yeah, the AMR built block is nice. I'm running one on my Legacy with a GT35R. 450 awhp on a Dyno Dynamics. I think they're running some sort of promotion on their online store now on one of their blocks. Check it @
