i was wondering how the lights for gauges should be wired. i would like the gauges to turn on when the car is on, but dim when i turn on the lights. do i just tap into the power for the clock, and do i wire them in parallel, or in a series?

i've seen write ups on defis and omoris, but was wondering if anyone has installed stewart warners this way...:thx:

if anyone is wondering which gauges im talking about, you can get more info here.

You want to tap into a wire that gets hot when you turn the lights on. Should be one behind the clock, radio, and where the factory boost Gage plugs in. Use a test light or a multi meter to find it and when you do, you will notice the light/meter will get brighter or dimer when you adjust the lights.
