I listened to his interview with the Rally Radio folks and we was as pumped as you would expect him to be. He deserved it though, he really laid on the gas after Marcus retired. Another interesting not is that Tommi came in 4th which puts the entire subaru team in the top 4 drivers for rally GB and proved that they could keep up with the Peugeots...

Yeah, congrats to Petter. He has quickly become one of my favorite rally drivers. You just don't find that excitement in most of the other drivers.

Congrats to Petter and Subaru! Hopefully Tommi and Petter sit down and do some cross tutoring over the next few months ;)

Well......when 2 of the 3 Peugeots are out..... kinda hard to make that comparison. Marcus was kickin everyone's ass again till he flipped it. And Burns rolled early on which put him back a ways...and then he ended up butt-first down a cliff in the forest.

However, to back your claim, it has been said the Peugeots are obviously stronger in a straight line while the Subaru drivetrain is a standout against the others. If it had been a fair race with everyone staying in, we may have seen the tranny shine on that killer of a course.

Those little 206's are keeping Subaru on their toes. The Peugot on tarmac is pretty hard to beat. It seems to handle real nicely in the twisties.

Oh, Subaru give us the STi with DCCD!

And he is such a nice guy. I went to the Rallye Deutschland and let me tell you most of the drivers/teams weren't personable, but Petter got out and signed autographs and met with people...

I read somewhere that alot of people are picking Petter to win the championship in 2003. Should be interesting, especially with all of the improvements that I am sure they have made to the 2003 WRC car.
