Took out the tranny to put a new clutch in and now the car won't go in reverse.

The transmission shop replaced the transmission and 2 days later reverse stopped working again..

I believe it's the linkage but I want to hear someone else's thoughts.. Already 4k in the hole on this one.

A) Reverse lockout? Hopefully
B) Gear inside for get what its called - I think someone "recently" mentioned doing this without pulling the trans! Search reverse on this site.
C) Last cause not likely but of course you'd rule it out before pulling the trans.

Thank you for the reply, I sent them the forum with the reverse problem so they can understand what to look for. Fingers crossed.

Its the reverse lockout lever arm. Just needs a bit of adjustment
